Participation is limited to certified (and/or retired) Firefighter or LEO (Officer). This will be a “fun” challenge so prepare to race individuals of all levels of expertise.
Each group will have their own preliminary race and the top 12 qualifiers (about 6 of each group) will advance to the main event and will race each other: the Firefighters will race the Officers. There will be an award ceremony following the race and a Check presentation to the family of Deputy Josie Fox.
This event is being held at the Wasatch County Event Center in Heber City. The cost is free for participants. Spectators pay $9 for adults, $6 for children 6-12 yrs old, and free for children 5 yrs and under. Spectators arrive 7:00 – 7:30 PM on Saturday. Please arrive early, this will sell out.
Those interested in participating in the event can email their contact information ASAP to iRace@UtahWinterCross.com or call Jeff Germain directly at (435) 631-0318.
