Take Back Utah Land Access Rally

Take Back Utah Land Access Rally

The Parade line up at Utah State Fair Park will start at 6:00 am and will commence at the end of the rally. The Rally will start at 9:30 am and end at approximately 10:30 am. During the event there will be food, vendors, and prizes at the Fair Park.

This year’s rally promoting multi-use of Utah’s public lands is changing parade routes — this time from the Utah State Fairpark to the Capitol — but the theme is the same: Take Back Utah. Gov. Gary Herbert, Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, and Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, will be among the speakers, said co-founder Mike Swenson. A few speakers will kick things off at the fairpark, followed by a larger rally at the Capitol.

Take Back Utah protects access to our public lands and defends the freedom of all American’s to explore and experience America’s Wild Places, while preserving America’s small town economies and rural lifestyles through responsible land use.

Organization Overview:

  1. We are focused on enacting public policy change at the federal government level to protect access to our publiclands for all.
  2. We serve as an inclusive and unifying voice to diverse groups of American’s who want to access and experience America’s Wild Places for themselves, regardless of age, ability or other factors that may be limiting.
  3. We are a loud voice of truth about public land access issues – we speak with veracity to educate our fellow citizens and government officials about how today’s “Wilderness” policies exclude most American’s from having the ability to personally experience America’s most wild places, as well as how these policies weaken the ability of America’s small towns to survive.
