It sucks not having a shop manual to list codes and specs. I decided to post a popular Google Search: “engine codes for Raptors”.
To check for codes turn the key to the on position do not start the engine.
When you have the check engine light come on, there are some flashes that will tell you a code or #. There is a slower – longer duration flashes that tell you what the first # will be. The second flash is faster – shorter duration flashes that will tell you the second #.
Example: Four short long flashes with four short – faster ones = #44.
Here is a list of the engine codes for Yamaha Raptor 700.

Does anybody know what a code 52 is? I ve looked everywhere and cant find anything about it. Yes I counted correctly. 5 long flashes and 2 short.
I just checked my service manual and it doesn’t list a 52. Have you tried some of the Raptor forums?
