I love Yamaha.  They like to bust open the mold and make people wonder.  This year they decided to create more affordable atvs by dropping the prices on the sport YFZ 450 and on the utility entry level Grizzly 300.

The new Yamaha Grizzly 300 is an excellent adult entry level machine. It has a top-of-class 287cc engine produces stump-pulling power for work or play with its aggressive bottom-end power. Which is a hell of a lot more motor than I had in my first sport atv. The engine has class-exclusive liquid cooling provides exceptionally long engine life even in the most extreme environments. This is a huge bonus especially if you are crawling around in the rocks and not blasting down the trail.  It comes standard with electric start.

The Grizzly 300 is the only model in its class to have a fully automatic dual range transmission with high, low, neutral and reverse. Reliable, low-maintenance shaft drive. The Grizzly 300 2wd has separate hydraulic front and rear disc brakes for awesome stopping power.

Over 5 inches of ground clearance means even rough terrain is no match for the Grizzly 300. The long wheelbase smoothes out rough trail conditions.22-inch Maxxis® tires with a rugged lug pattern offer great traction and durability on the rocks or in the mud.

Double-wishbone front suspension provides 5.9 inches of travel while the rear swing arm delivers 6.5 inches of travel.
